Welcome to the Atlanta Metropolitan Navy League Council.
Founded in 1962, this organization was built by civilians dedicated to preserving the United States’ legacy as a “maritime nation.” We recognize the vital importance of our sea services to our national security, and we welcome all patriots who want to keep our Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and U.S. Merchant Marine as a key part of America’s strength.
Our mission is simple but essential: Serving the sea services and the families of those who serve and promoting youth programs to ensure the next generation of leaders.
The Navy League of the United States: Education, Advocacy and a Voice to Congress
The Navy League of the United States is the nation’s voice to educate the public and the United States Congress on the importance of our nation’s defense, well-being, and economic prosperity.
Your thoughts and opinions matter. Messages sent to Congressmen and Senators keep our sea services in the fore. You will find the process easy, and making your voice heard is a positive step for our sea services.
Visit the National Navy League’s website and use its email tool lists “Legislative Issues” and then clicking on “Take Action” goes to the email preparation, starting with entering a zip code and then confirming which Members of Congress (your Representative and/or your Senators) and State/Local Officials should be included in the email. The text can be altered or changed as appropriate. The subject line should remain the same if the subject doesn’t change, allowing Congressional staff to count the subjects. Numbers DO make a difference to our Representatives and Senators, and using emails is one way for members (and friends) to support our Sea Services in Congress.
